This policy explains how we process the personal data of people who represent a business on Peludio Partners: applicants, owners and editors who manage a Partner profile or access the Partner panel. It is separate from our general privacy policy, which covers pet owners using the Peludio app. It does not describe how we handle the data of users who follow a Partner from My Places; that is covered in our general privacy policy.
Peludio Partners is operated by the same team that runs Peludio: its founders, Javier and Maite. There is no separate legal entity for Partners.
For any privacy request or question about this policy, contact us at feedback@peludio.com. We are based in Spain, and the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) is our supervisory authority.
When you apply to join Peludio Partners or manage a Partner profile, we may process: your name, email address and phone number; your role at the business (for example owner, manager or staff member); information about the business itself (name, type, address, city, website, social media, opening details and similar public-facing information); and the content of your application, including any message you send us.
If your business is accepted and you or your team access the Partner panel, we also process your login credentials or sign-in method, the actions you take in the panel (for example creating or editing a profile, publishing a post, inviting a team member), and basic security logs such as access times.
If you contact our support, we keep a record of that conversation to help resolve it and to improve our service.
As part of accepting new Partners, we may carry out a manual review of the information you provide, which can include publicly available information about the business, to confirm it is a genuine business appropriate for the directory.
If Peludio Partners ever involves billing or paid features, we would also process the billing information needed for that, if applicable. Joining and using Peludio Partners does not currently involve payment.
To review and respond to applications to join Peludio Partners, including manual review of the businesses proposed.
To communicate with you about your application, your Partner profile or your account.
To create and maintain your Partner profile once accepted, and to let you and your team members (owners and editors) manage it through the Partner panel.
To provide the Partner panel itself, including publishing posts and offers, generating QR codes, and showing you metrics about your own profile.
To provide support when you contact us.
To keep Peludio Partners secure, prevent abuse and detect fraudulent or fake business applications.
To moderate content published by Partners and enforce the Peludio Partners terms of service.
To comply with legal obligations that may apply to us.
To send you communications that are operational in nature, such as notices about your account or changes to the service.
While your business has not yet been accepted, we process your application data because you ask us to take pre-contractual steps at your own initiative, so we can evaluate it.
Once your business is accepted, we process the data needed to provide the Partner panel and related features on the basis of the contract between you (or the business you represent) and Peludio.
We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the platform secure, preventing fraud or abuse, and improving Peludio Partners, always balanced against your rights.
Where the law requires it, we process data to comply with legal obligations.
For anything optional, such as certain communications you can choose to receive, we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
We aim to apply the narrowest legal basis appropriate to each processing activity, consistent with our general privacy policy.
We use the same categories of hosting and service providers described in our general privacy policy to store and process this data, with servers located in the European Union or with providers offering adequate safeguards.
We do not sell or share this data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Access within our team is limited to what is needed to manage applications, operate the Partner panel and provide support.
Application data for businesses that are not accepted is kept only for as long as needed to evaluate the application and handle any related follow-up, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Data linked to an active Partner profile is kept for as long as the profile remains active on Peludio Partners.
Panel access, security and support records are kept for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service safely, and may be kept longer where needed to comply with a legal obligation or resolve a dispute.
We do not keep this data for longer than necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to request portability of the data you provided to us.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at feedback@peludio.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.
You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Spain, this is the AEPD.
Access to the Partner panel and to business data is limited by role: owners and editors only see the data relevant to the business they manage.
Connections to Peludio Partners are encrypted in transit.
We do not provide Partners with any export or download of the identity of the people who follow them in My Places.
No system is completely free of risk and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data described here.
We may send Partners operational communications related to their application, their profile, the Partner panel or changes to the service. These are necessary to provide Peludio Partners and are not optional marketing.
Any commercial or promotional communication about Peludio Partners beyond what is operational will only be sent with your consent, and you can opt out at any time.
We may update this policy as Peludio Partners evolves. We will post the new version on this page.
