Peludio is operated by its founders (Javier and Maite). For privacy requests, contact us at [email protected].

Account data: your name, email address and sign-in method (email sign-in code or Google).

Pet data: name, breed, birth date, weight, sex, photos, notes, checkups, vaccines, reminders and other entries you add.

Usage data: pages visited, feature usage and anonymous visitor identifiers used to understand how Peludio is used and to improve the product.

Technical data: browser type, device type and similar information collected automatically when you use the site.

Push notifications (optional): if you enable browser alerts, we store a push subscription (endpoint and encryption keys) tied to your account and language preference so we can deliver reminders and announcements you have opted into.

To create and secure your account, save your pet profiles and sync your timeline across devices.

To send optional reminder emails, browser push notifications and product messages you have agreed to receive.

To operate, protect and improve Peludio, including analytics on aggregated usage.

We do not sell your personal data.

If you choose Continue with Google, Google shares basic profile information with us (such as your name and email address) so we can create or sign you into your Peludio account.

Google's use of your data is governed by Google's own privacy policy. We only receive what is needed to authenticate you.

We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing Peludio), with your consent where required (for example marketing or optional emails), and for our legitimate interests in keeping the service secure and improving it.

You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based.

Your data is stored on servers in the European Union or with providers that offer adequate safeguards.

We keep your information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so you can recover it or so we can meet legal obligations.

You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing [email protected].

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing.

You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Spain, this is the AEPD.

We will respond to privacy requests within a reasonable time.

Essential cookies: a session cookie to keep you signed in, and a short-lived cookie during Google sign-in. These are required for the service and do not need separate consent.

Functional storage: we remember your language choice in a cookie and in local storage (peludio-locale) so pages load in the right language.

Analytics (optional, only with your consent): we may store an anonymous visitor id (peludio_anon_id), a session id (peludio_session) and send first-party usage events (pages visited, locale, approximate country from IP). We do not use third-party ad trackers.

You can choose Essential only or Accept all in the cookie banner. You can change your choice anytime via Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing analytics consent stops new tracking and clears the anonymous id in your browser.

Peludio is intended for pet owners aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy as Peludio evolves. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above.
